Business Challenge

Gaps in collaboration due to multiple social media platforms in the market, but they are hindered by significant time constraints. How might we develop an infrastructure to provide opportunities for the company to allow users to connect with their fellow groups, without detracting from the time needed to complete their work?

Approach

We built a prototype to test out with the SMEs to incorporate more messaging options and more robust functionality for event sharing. Platforms - iOS and Android native applications, HTML5/Angular JS/nodeJS. App development tools for the field application: Code repos and artifacts as they move across the CI/CD pipeline/DevSecOps/Incident Management and Monitoring.

Outcome/Transformation

Upon the roll-out of the applications - web and mobile, increase of 25% of Android users on the latest OS release and 60% of Apple device users on iOS 11 -  this added another layer of complexity, however, no issues were observed when ensuring all users are receiving a seamless experience. User reporting: App performance and updates to its design were well received by users. They reported that it was fun to cycle through the events.
